Year End Dance Recital!

Friday May 11, 2018 6:30pm @ Snowcrest Junior High is our year end dance recital! I've had the date on the board in the studio and kept forgetting to post-sorry!  Mark your calendars! We are getting too close to competition-Ive had a lot of students missing classes.  We may need to have extra classes to get ready in time so please don't miss and Please practice at home!

Competition FEES!!

I have only had 13 out of 50 students that are competing pay all of their competition fees. I have already paid in full one of the competitions with my own funds and the other competition fees are due the beginning of next week. PLEASE PAY ASAP!!! All comp teams are performing in both competitions including Monday's ACRO class -Starstruck is $16 per dance per dancer and Rocky Mountain is $22 per dance per dancer. Wednesdays 5-6 yr old class is just doing Rocky Mountain Comp and so will only owe $22 for the one dance.

No Dance on Valentine's Day!

There will be no dance this WEDNESDAY on VALENTINE'S DAY! Please Enjoy the day with your LOVED ones and spread the word! We will have a make up day if needed.  The 5-6yr old Jazz Class will be performing at the Rocky Mountain Classic Dance Competition at Weber State on April 21st.  Please pay the $22 competition fee ASAP. I still need all other competition fees for those competing. If you are doing a solo for RMC please pay $80 to me and if you are doing a solo for SDC you should have done so online already. Jackets are done! They will be handed out soon and shirts for older classes are being printed. Thanks for your patience.

Competition Dates Set-

I apoligize for not setting comp dates earlier-I was wanting to try out new competitions this year that were local and got caught up in the decision of picking ones that were local, not too pricey, on a stage setting, and good reviews which are hard....because it doesn't matter what competition you review, there are always good and bad-By the time I decided, some of the competitions solos were already full-SO HA! Back to the drawing board. So...for this year we will be doing Rocky Mountain Classic and Starstruck. Unless there is an important event already planned for those weekends ALL comp dancers are required to attend. PLEASE let me KNOW AS SOON AS YOU FIND OUT IF THEIR ARE CONFLICTS-ONCE THEY ARE REGISTERED WE CAN NOT GET A REFUND!

Jackets should be finished soon! I apologize but had to order more because we got quite a few new students since registration. The older girls hoodie shirts will be done a little later-I was trying to revamp the LOGO to something a little more HIP :)

Financial Statement

Dance classes resume today-Remember as it says in the Registration Form that you signed at the beginning of the year, that I follow Weber School Districts Calendar. I am sending home financial statements today for the dance year so far-Please check records and then pay off any balances ASAP! What is written on the record is what you have paid-empty boxes are what you owe. If you have any questions or problems-Please contact me to deal with those-THANK YOU!

PRINTED NAMES and Costume Payment!

If you want your child's name printed on jacket/shirt, I need $3 payment and the way you want your child's name before Christmas Break! These are the names that I have so far that have already paid:

Costumes and Name on dancElation jackets

Hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving Holiday with friends and family! Just a few housekeeping items. We will be measuring girls this week for costumes-The first costume payment of $40 is overdue if you have not paid that yet. The second costume fee of $40 will be in January.  Please get that done ASAP! For all competition classes, we will be deciding on which competitions we will be attending next year within the next couple of weeks-so stay tuned and get your calendars ready to mark the dates and let us know if there are any conflicts.
Also, I have purchased the jackets/shirts that will have the dancElation logo on it for this year that you will receive as part of your registration payment.
. Before I got them printed with the logo- I wanted to offer those who want to put their names on their jackets/shirts for only $3 more.  If you want child's name on it- please enclose $3 with how you want your child's name spelled on jacket/shirt on the check or separate paper if you are doing cash. Here is example of jacket with name on front-Logo is on the back.Some of you have not paid registration fee's for the year-please get that taken care of ASAP- THANK YOU!
