Costumes and Name on dancElation jackets

Hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving Holiday with friends and family! Just a few housekeeping items. We will be measuring girls this week for costumes-The first costume payment of $40 is overdue if you have not paid that yet. The second costume fee of $40 will be in January.  Please get that done ASAP! For all competition classes, we will be deciding on which competitions we will be attending next year within the next couple of weeks-so stay tuned and get your calendars ready to mark the dates and let us know if there are any conflicts.
Also, I have purchased the jackets/shirts that will have the dancElation logo on it for this year that you will receive as part of your registration payment.
. Before I got them printed with the logo- I wanted to offer those who want to put their names on their jackets/shirts for only $3 more.  If you want child's name on it- please enclose $3 with how you want your child's name spelled on jacket/shirt on the check or separate paper if you are doing cash. Here is example of jacket with name on front-Logo is on the back.Some of you have not paid registration fee's for the year-please get that taken care of ASAP- THANK YOU!

Thursday-October 26th!

We will only have Preschool Class tomorrow from 2:45-3:45pm.  DancElite Team ONLY- I would like to all meet at Studio by 6:30pm to review dance before performance-some of you will already be doing hair and make-up there with Cheyenne.  EVERYONE- please try to be at the Junior High by 7:00pm. Our performance time will be around 7:30pm in the gym. I would like to try to space everyone on the floor and do a run through before the performance if possible-if not, we'll just wing it:)  Looking forward to this first performance of the year!  Just wear any Halloween or Monster Costume-Preschooler's, don't forget your buckets and a SMILE!

Fall Festival Performance and Solo Information.

Our studio has been asked to perform at the Fall Festival Fundraiser this year. It will be held Thursday, October 26th at Snowcrest Junior High.  All Tuesday, Wednsday, and Thursday classes except for the Preschool class, will be dancing to Calling All The Monsters. They will need to dress up as some sort of Halloween Monster. I don't have the exact time we are performing yet so stay tuned. The Preschool class will need a Trick-or-Treat bucket and can dress up however they would like.  Please start bringing the buckets to class so they can practice with them.  If you are not able to make the performance please let me know ahead of time.  It shouldn't cost anything to come in and perform but wrist bands are available to purchase to do all of the games, booths, inflatables, etc. There is usually food you can purchase and tickets for the Spook Alley also. When we get a performance time set I will let you know what time all the dancers need to meet in the gym. Last time one of the girls didn't perform because she was going through the spook Alley and she was really sad.....
If you are wanting to do a solo this year it is NOW is the time to start signing up.  Please do so by texting whomever you would like to choreograph your solo. Contact info will be posted at the end of this post. Solo practice days/ times will be set up individually with you and your choreographer.  If you know what genre/style of dance your child would like to do or even have a song picked out-you most likely can get started ASAP.
 Solo fees are as follows:
$100- 1 time choreography fee-includes lessons to learn all of the routine. Lessons to clean routine after the routine is taught will be extra, and the fees per hour will be set by the choreographer.
$50- 1 time studio rental fee.
$150 TOTAL for SOLO FEE. Fee's are to be paid directly to your individual choreographer.
Costume's will be left up to the individual. I have costume catalogs you are welcome to order from but will need to contact me if you are interested. Those whom are competing with their Solo's must pay fees before I can register them for that competition.

Classes Start Soon! and Register for Dance Intensive and Workshop ASAP!

We are so excited to have classes starting Soon!  We were going to start classes on Monday, Septemeber 4th but I just found out that is a Holiday-so have a Happy Labor Day and NO DANCE. Classes will start the next day- Tuesday September 5th. Please bring or fill out registration form and payment by first class if you haven't already.  Also, Early Registration deadline for the Releve Dance Intensive is coming up shortly-Septemeber 14th. Whomever won the $25 gift card for the Releve Intensive at the Dance Recital in May can use that only for this Intensive but you need to let me know so I can get your card number for your discount when registering. ALL dancers are welcome to attend but specifically would encourage ALL competition dancers to attend.   Early Registration is $110 but most likely will go up to at least $125 after the deadline.  This will be an all day Intensive on October 14th and held at Riverton High School and you will need to bring your own lumch and snacks. Please plan accordingly and feel free to set up carpools:)
Also, all those who want to expand their Hip Hop moves won't want to miss HIP HOP UTAH on November 4th. Please register online. You spend the day being taught by some of the most well-known hip hop dancers and choreographers in the dance world.Such a great Oppportunity! See you in Class SOON!

I am charging $100 per month for all 4 comp classes for dancElite and dancElect.. I am charging $85 per month for all 3 comp classes for dancExcel and dancEnvy or if you are dancElite or dancElect and get permission to opt out of one of the classes. $65 per month if you are only doing 2 of the required classes after getting permission to opt out. You are still eligible to take off $5 for each additional sibling.

Fall Class times/days posted! Registration/Competition try-out days/forms here!

This is the tentative schedule for Fall classes starting in September.(4th) We have opened up more classes so that the kids can really work on technique regarding specific dance genres/styles. If you noticed we have two new fabulous instructors this year! They are also helping with Solo's and are ready to start choreographing as soon as they get the go ahead so if you are interested-the sooner the better:)FACTS class is geared specifically to competition classes so they can work on flexibility, tricks, and technique but are open to anyone else whom want to attend.  I am also going to do an adult class tentatively Thursday Evening, so if you are interested please write it down on the registration form.

Classes are subject to change after registration so please check back regularly. Registration will be August 7th and 14th from 9am-Noon which are also the Competition try out dates. Those that would like to be on a competition team please attend tryout dates and times-August 7th and 14th! 6-9yr olds from 9:00am-10:30am and 10 and older from 10:30am-Noon. . If you would like to tryout and will be gone those days please contact me before hand and we will have a make up date. Located below is the registration form. Please print and fill out and bring to the studio on the registration dates completely filled out, read, signed, and registration $ attached in check or cash enclosed in envelope with name. If you are not available for registration dates please fill out and mail with registration payment to 1931 S River Run Drive, Huntsville, UT 84317.  I will have some forms available at the studio to fill out if you are not able to print out beforehand.
